A Long-Standing Tradition of Excellence
“One must understand the theory and apply it in practice to be recognized as an accountant.”
Waldron H. Rand founded Waldron H. Rand & Company, P.C., in 1912. His service philosophy and dedication to the continual advancement of the industry is embedded in the Firm’s culture today. This tradition of excellence is why Waldron Rand is the oldest continuing public accounting firm in Massachusetts.
A true industry pioneer, Mr. Rand was a founding member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), serving as its president from 1912 through 1914, and president of the predecessor organization to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) from 1918 through 1920.
